SASSA Will Take Solutions to Fernie Local Community

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently visiting the Fernie two Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render services to the community.

SASSA is going to be rendering solutions such as new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer care enquiries, along with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency explained it's alarmed with regards to the substantial number of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The goal on the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] click here is to reach-out to your higher quantity of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This really is due to the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no thoroughly functional office committed to service the area daily. The provider level produced for intervention encounters a higher influx of possible beneficiaries, which makes it challenging for your office to attend to all people who stop by a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise extra methods to permit the servicing of all clients and maximize entry to Social Assistance providers,” the agency said.
